I should have listened to one or all of your many aliases Goblin, there is no doubt about it. I'd be buying flat out at 23c today if I had. Ah well, thems the breaks. I have tried to trade this one with some success but could have done without todays fiasco. Still, I've been in and out since 8c so perhaps not such a blow. Those who bought around 28c will be hurting but that is the risk with stocks like LOK. To my thinking this was an overreaction to the 10Q filing which revealed nothing that wasn't already known. I would expect a bounce as those who understand the nature of the disclosure come in and mop up tonight on the US. Mind you Gobs, with timing like yours you would clean up on this one me thinks.

My conscience is clear; I don't feel any remorse about what I posted. Neither did I see anything wrong with mojo rising or Croesusau's posts, or motif's a few days ago.

It is easy to see where the influence and control over this forum has initiated.

  18. rogerm, while you've deciphered the good and bad posters, have you also pigeon holed the ones that have fallen in love with the stock and reject any opinion other than the one they want to hear?
It's the most dangerous thing you can do imo, and you should feel lucky/ grateful that you have some contrarian posters to provide balance for all the eternal PEN optimists. But what would I know?
PEN is very tradable, but not out of the woods by a long way imo.
    • *Removed* this post has been removed from public view
  19. So you can see both sides of the story matty.
I'm in the same boat having traded PEN from time to time.
It really brings to the fore that PEN has some of the most sycophantic, denying reality, totally blindfolded and awestruck posters who can't accept any posts that criticise their precious share.
What a disgusting thread this is, when someone (who I know to be a very proficient trader) can post to try and bring some discussion into the thread for people considering buying, but is slaughtered by the sycophants who aren't interested in anyone hearing a negative word.
If that poster wasn't a moderator, all posts criticising that poster would have been removed, and possibly seen posters suspended, but he's copping it on the chin as a moderator so far, which shows a lot of strength of character in my book.
    Shame on many of you.

  21. Agree seuss.
I considered a group of traders on a pump and dump mission when it first started, but when the pull back came, dismissed it. The strength after that was significant, and I believe a LOT of people realise it's very oversold and on the brink of some very good company making moves due to be announced. Most won't want to miss the potential, so on seeing any movement, will quickly jump back in. That's no pump and dump.

  22. I know. Maybe I didn't explain myself very well.
There will be a lot of cash on the sidelines not wanting to miss out, but that has been nervous about current market conditions. Movement in stock price is enough to bring that money back in. Nothing to do with management, just investor psychology imo.

  24. Do you have a 2.7 million deposit for a new home?
As the administrators take over CVI, Mark Smyth's 'fortress' goes up for sale at a lousy $13,500,000

Now, with a 2.7million deposit, and interest rate of 7.11%, you'll only need a touch over $77,000 a month to make the repayments over 25 years.

    Feeling sick enough yet?
Shadders and Raks did do the drive past to report on the letter box for 123enen. I remember it well from just after the EGM days.

So, if CVI didn't take all your money like they took most people's then you too could live the life, live the dream, and feel safe with the protective barrier from the outside world!

Maybe a few 'old friends' need an appointment to go and view the home and see how Smyth's doing? Is the dementia well advanced yet? Any house guests? Malcolm Johnson, Anton Tarkanyi, excelsior perhaps?

  27. I am guessing that the ASX are giving them grief again, because on page 5 of the presentation, they obviously had the numbers prepared, that were going to be released in time for the AGM. (Obviously again is my guess)

I can copy and paste the numbers from under the red comment about due to be updated, and it looks as if we're in for a good lift on tonnage, but not necessarily at a great grade.
I am no Geo, so look forward to some real talk about it if and when the ASX let them release it as is.

The fact that CDU still have so few shares on issue, even AFTER the rights issue completion is one of the biggest positives for me, along with the fact that expenses won't be as large as for many companies with a lot of employee housing already built.

Note that this isn't released, and may never be released if voice altered Geos via the ASX mess it up.
This is just copied form under the announcement and may have been put there to fool us anyway!

Right now, imo it's a buy.

What does that have to do with anything else?
Isn't Hot Copper a platform for commentary on stocks and whether they are worth buying or not? If we didn't comment, there would be no Hot Copper

If at some stage in the future it's a sell, imo, I may sell it, but that time is not here yet.
Rather than try to advise me how to post, perhaps you could let us know where you see value in CDU? Do you wait for it to be proven and moving up again?

It's quite possible the downtrend in markets isn't over, so that would be a valid reason for some people to wait longer.
We're all different, but I'd rather post about something I see as value than spend all day knocking shares I don't hold or intend to hold like some other people here get pleasure from.

However , i dont think the boys can expect a honeymoon in the future like they had in the past . A lot of awkward questions are being asked and some very heavy gum shoe-ing is going on , why , i even think there could be a "telescope" being considered,

Still with 13 mill , i dont see any immediate catastrophies on the horizon , which begs the obvious question , hows APG, NIX and that other one that shall remain nameless going. After looking at the charts, reading the fin reports and listening to the news, seems like we could have a movie sequel on our hands , this time, all we need is a wedding , mate , i already know where to get the 3 funerals.

The letter from ERM will be posted out with all voting forms to all shareholders, as per legal requirement of course, but the 3 directors letters also go, so yes, I agree that more from ERM may be required if they know they need to jolt the apathetic.

Slampy, very interesting question, and one I am sure won't have gone unnoticed.

Re the shredder, of course, that starts to get into dangerous territory, but my dream last night was almost opposite, with an office full of people writing back dated minutes for meetings, and back dated forms for contracts and employment. It was a hectic dream, and I hope there's no reality in it at all.

  40. 6,583 Posts.
Thanks for your post, Kam, it seems that you have a lot on your chest regarding what other faiths do, and base your arguments and faith contrast to that,
After reviewing your post, it appears to be an emotional response to various other religions, except your own. You seem to believe that your faith balances all of them. Unfortunately, the world is much more complex than that. This kind of reaction is common among certain sects and cults, as well as within the current cultural trend of wokeness, which often opposes much of history. Naturally, those holding these views may believe their actions and behaviours will set things on the right path. However, this knee-jerk reaction is a typical aspect of human nature.
Because God's work spans different eras and cultures, the message of Jesus is understood as the fulfillment of God's promises across all times. It is through Jesus that God's plan for salvation is made fully accessible and universal, providing a pathway for every individual to be reconciled with God.
No other Prophet does this, not even yours

The Bahai perspective of “the way” pays respect to all the Spiritual Traditions of the world whose Prophets or Teachers have given beautiful and goodly fruits.
The Christian perspective has tried to extinguish diversity of sacred tradition.

My dear friend, The Catholic Church acknowledges the value and goodness present in various spiritual traditions around the world. While recognizing the uniqueness of the Christian revelation, the Church respects and seeks common ground with other spiritual traditions. The Christian perspective of “the way” has oppressed indigenous spiritual and sacred heritage, and resulted in indigenous oppression leading to a generation upon generation loss of identity amongst the indigenous, but still, that doesn’t negate That Jesus is the only way and truth

The Christian perspective has tried to extinguish diversity of sacred tradition.
There you go Kam, more incentive to give up on Christianity, the fact is this is very short sighted as the working of the world is far more complex, any prophet wort his salt should know this
No single tradition has a monopoly on efforts to suppress or promote certain beliefs. Throughout history, various cultures and religions have both suppressed and embraced diversity, often influenced by political, social, or theological motives. Throughout history, various religious and political powers have sought to consolidate their authority by promoting certain beliefs and sometimes suppressing or marginalizing other traditions.

The Christian perspective injects words such as “last of all” into verses such as Hebrews 1:1 where no translation has those words in this verse to maintain this sense of superiority.
Your looking at the king James, I’m not into that, I prefer Catholic ones and this is what they say
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son...”
In the Original Greek Text, The Greek phrase often translated as "these last days" is enēmeroi (ἐν ἡμέραις ταύταις, meaning "in these days," or "the final period."
What your issue, as when the Bible speaks of "these last days" or "the final period," it refers to the era marked by the culmination of God's redemptive plan through Jesus Christ. In Hebrews 1:1-2, for example, the phrase indicates that Christ's arrival represents the peak or culmination of God's communication and salvation efforts.

The Christian perspective says that "full revelation was brought by His Son" knowing full well that the Spirit of Truth (not the Son) will guide us unto all truth.
My dear friend, very shallow understanding of scripture, did your prophet tell you this
In biblical theology, Jesus' incarnation and earthly ministry provided the fullest revelation of God's nature and salvation plan. However, the Holy Spirit continues to guide believers into deeper understanding and application of that truth.
The Spirit does not replace or diminish Jesus' revelation but rather guides believers into the full meaning and application of what Christ revealed in Jesus

That is why no more prophets are necessary as the Holy Spirit will guide all into truth, simple
How well is Christianity doing in changing humanity into Gods image?
Geez Kam, you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel, by your logic then you faith should be booming beyond what humanity has ever seen, the reality is humanity is called to be transformed into God's image through love, holiness, and imitation of Christ. The transformation is an ongoing process through out time and history, you know what the issue is Kam, that in itself requires the cooperation of individuals with God's grace. And many choose not to cooperate
So do tell how well your faith is doing in changing current events like the wars in the middle east

Wafflehead shared earlier in this thread a wonderful post about how inadequate "love thy neighbour" is as a means to change humanity into Gods image
    .
I don’t normally read all posts, but again you’re depending on other people to boost your faith, you need to just stick your own principle
I’ll give you my views and the church which is not coming or depending from external source as yours
Loving one's neighbour is a moral duty to act kindly, but this does not necessarily address the deeper issues of human nature, such as selfishness, pride, or spiritual brokenness. It requires promotion of good actions externally but still it might not transform the heart fundamental, it’s a transformation of the heart that is required for a real change
And that true change into God's image involves a profound inner transformation, in renewing the mind and heart through a relationship with God, notably through faith in Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17). Mere outward love without inner spiritual change may fall short of the goal of becoming like God
God's image encompasses all aspects of moral, spiritual, and relational perfection. It includes justice, holiness, humility, and truth—virtues that go beyond just loving others superficially.

Without a genuine connection to God and the Spirit’s guidance, "loving your neighbour" can become a performative act or a moral obligation that lacks true compassion. It may be used to justify self-righteousness rather than true humility and transformation.
Human effort alone, even with the command to love, is insufficient to produce the holiness and righteousness that reflect God's image. The transforming power of God's grace, through Jesus' sacrifice and the Spirit’s work, is essential.

God does not change, but He desires us to uncover His mysteries by uncovering the mysteries of the universe.
    The application needs to change.

Not a problem with discovering the mysteries of the universe, but its not the core why humanity is here on this side of life, God is more interested in salvation of souls
Progress does not guarantee spiritual health or salvation. The Bible warns that without a relationship with God, human achievements are ultimately fleeting and do not satisfy the deepest human longing.
Humans seek to understand why they exist and what their life is for. Many long for a sense of significance and a reason for their existence beyond fleeting pleasures.
The desire to be genuinely loved, accepted, and to form meaningful relationships is fundamental. Humans are inherently social and long for authentic connection—both with others and with a higher power.
Life is more than just the physical world. There’s a longing for something eternal, divine, or transcendent that satisfies the soul’s hunger for everlasting fulfillment.
As Jesus repeatedly emphasized the importance of the soul. For example, in Matthew 16:26, He asks, "What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?" This highlights that spiritual salvation and the health of the soul are of eternal significance, far surpassing material or worldly gains.

God doesn't endorse human sacrifice today, but God endorsed many strange things in the Old Testament.
Why do you not speak out to the genocide and human genital mutilation found in the Old Testament?

Geez Kam, humanity wasn’t born into the hindsight of today, humanity learns as it progress, . The Old Testament accounts of God seemingly endorsing various practices were often accommodations to the cultural context at the time, gradually leading humanity towards a fuller understanding of divine revelation which was to come with Jesus

God communicates with us today through the Holy Spirit? .....and we have every church on earth saying it's found there.
Aren’t you saying the same thing, that is found in yours
I prefer to follow the Word of God revealed by Prophet who's given us fruits that have changed the world for the better.
Many say His impact is Christ-like
    .
Yes many said in the past and do today it’s Jesus, like it or not Jesus has had more impact on the transformation of the world then your prophet

If Gods overall redemptive plan is ongoing, then Jesus's work is not finished. And as you correctly say, affirming what I had said. The work of God extends BEYOND the work of Jesus in His first coming. As you say "....Gods overall plan isn't considered complete until future prophecied events occur"
Conclusion. Gods work extends beyond the work done by Jesus and His so called "last of all
    "

No Kam, The completion of redemption through Jesus' Death and resurrection signifies the finished work that provides salvation for all. The application of this redemption to each generation is an ongoing process carried out by the Holy Spirit, guiding individuals towards accepting and living out the truth and merit of Christ's sacrifice.
And this completion of the redemption process will be fulfilled at the end of time when Christ will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. At that moment, the fullness of God's plan of salvation will be revealed, and the transformation of humanity into God's image will reach its ultimate perfection.

You are waiting for a "beyond all known reality" event for creation to reach its ultimate purpose.
