Maybe, maybe not, as the church would've been the reference point, it had no problems until 1500, when "bible alone," or "Sola Scripture" taken up that's when the bulk of the division took off like a chain reaction, as the authority was taken away from the church hands and given to individual understanding
Using this as a reference point, I think it would've been more united
