Greetings,
"(Hebrews 9:27 NIV – “ Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment”"There is no indication of a second chance after death. That’s not harsh—it’s why Yeshua came to give us hope now."
Rev 20:12 - And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
"There is no indication of a second chance".....................From your Heb quote and based on the clear message in Rev here, how do you come to your conclusions of the Heb quote, when there is NO actual reference in the line that you're saying???
"Books" - it would seem is referring to ones individual Book (hence Books) and they are judged based on their book it would seem, and I expect then aligned, compared, to the Book of life.
"Judgement" could very well be, to assess your reward, position in the tree, so to speak, or the likes of how close you are to God, in the family so to speak.
And as well, doom for some?
Many seem to try and suggest that the Rev quote is doom and gloom for all those raised there, when it says no such thing.
