You said I “got Daniel 8:14 wrong” because it uses the word
“re-consecrated” or “cleansed again.” Let’s clear that up right now with Scripture, not speculation.
Here is the verse from the
KJV (the most widely respected literal translation of the Hebrew text):
“And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.”
(Daniel 8:14, KJV)
The Hebrew word used here for “cleansed” is
צָדַק (
tsadaq) — which means to
vindicate,
make right, or
restore to rightful state. It is
not the word for “re-consecrate” — which would be
חָנַךְ (
chanak) or
קָדַשׁ (
qadash) if it meant a religious rededication or sanctifying ritual.
The word “
re-consecrated” that you’re quoting is
not in the original Hebrew text — it appears only in some
modern interpretive translations that already assume the prophecy has been fulfilled. That is not a faithful rendering of the Hebrew, and it's misleading when building doctrine.
Let me be very clear:
- Daniel 8 is not talking about the cleansing of the sanctuary by Yeshua at His first coming.
- Daniel 8 is dealing with a vision of the little horn, which is a clear end-time figure (connected to the Antichrist in Revelation 13).
- This "little horn" casts truth to the ground and defiles the sanctuary — so the cleansing is a future event that will occur after 2300 literal days of desecration.
This is not about Christianity needing to be “cleansed” and a new religion starting in 1844. That idea was
never in Daniel's mind or the angel **riel’s explanation. The prophecy is
not pointing to a so-called Baha’i age, nor does it affirm your prophet in any way.
You say Baha’u’llah started a new religion and that this fulfills Daniel 8. But Daniel never said the sanctuary would be “re-consecrated” by someone claiming to be
God Himself — which Baha’u’llah blasphemously did. He didn’t cleanse any sanctuary — there was
no Temple, no visible sign, and no scriptural basis for tying 1844 to this prophecy other than speculation.

You asked me before if I would denounce my faith in Yeshua if He didn’t fulfill prophecy. The answer is simple —
He did fulfill prophecy, and there are over
300 fulfilled messianic prophecies that testify to Him.

none. NOT ONE, not sure what you don't get here..
Now that it’s been shown that the word in Daniel 8:14 does
not mean “re-consecrate,” and that your entire prophetic interpretation rests on a
misreading of the Hebrew text —a man who claimed to be greater than Yeshua, and yet fulfilled
no true prophecy, Best you denounce your false prophet or what ever you think he is.. He is nothing.
