Appreciate the reply, but let’s take a breath and unpack this a little more carefully.
You said, “It actually couldn’t” in response to a rotating firmament explaining pendulum precession — but that’s a bold absolute without actually proving why it’s impossible. Just declaring someone “dead wrong” doesn’t win the point. The concept of external forces influencing a pendulum isn’t unheard of, and rejecting that outright without considering alternate models is what actually stifles exploration.
You then bring up GPS as proof of relativity — and while it’s true that relativistic corrections are applied in GPS tech, it’s an assumption to say that only Einstein’s model makes that possible. Even Tesla challenged relativity, and while he wasn’t right about everything, he wasn’t “dead wrong” either — his wireless technologies and understanding of energy still shape the world we live in today. If we’re so quick to dismiss past minds, we risk closing off valid questions too early.
Regarding pendulums not behaving uniformly — you’re correct, and yes, that’s what the globe model predicts. But here’s where the honest thinking comes in: is that proof of a spinning globe, or is it evidence interpreted through the lens of a spinning globe? There’s a difference. I’ve never claimed to have all the equations — but I am watching, learning, and observing that when a model is unchallengeable, it begins to look more like dogma than science.
As for observing curvature from an airplane, let’s be precise: most commercial jets fly between 10–12 km high, and optical illusions, window curvature, and limited field of view absolutely play a role. Even pilots like those in the U2 or SR-71 programs have admitted you don’t truly start to see what appears to be curvature until 20,000 meters or higher — and even then, the effect is often exaggerated by lenses.
You're free to believe what you believe — and so am I — but throwing out accusations of “spam,” “misinformation,” or “lies” every time someone disagrees isn’t the way to win hearts or minds. If you're certain of your model, you shouldn't feel threatened by different views. And if you're here to debate, try doing it without the mockery.
Because if the truth is on your side, you won’t need the insults.
