How can we debate a topic in which you have no concept of what is literal and what is symbolic.
The leper was sick with the leprosy of sin, the cripple was spiritually healed to walk the straight path to God, the dead were dead in spirit and Jesus revived them back to spiritual life, Jesus Himself said let the dead bury the dead, the thousands fed were fed the greatest food of all, the Word of God. Every Prophet has done this.
Had the miracles been literal events Jesus would have been famous, recorded and known across the entire Roman Empire and beyond rather than being the scantest footnote in Roman history, if at all. He would not have ddied in almost obscurity with but a handful of followers had the miracles been literal.
And why would anybody imagine that the Bible as simple, literal writings? They are dense, complex works of great spiritual insight with the reward given to those who spend the time and effort to unlock the deeper meanings. Such rewards are not given to somebody who opens the Book and read words literally like a novel.
