For your first question, I think the teachings of Baha'u'llah do exactly that.

The teachings of Christ have had 2000 years to brew.
I think the teachings of the Buddha have influenced more because it is much older.
Similarly with the teachings of Krishna, but again much longer to brew than the teachings of Christ.
