I think the misunderstanding comes from this contorted spiritual/physical imagination that has been created to somehow give meaning to what is otherwise meaningless. There are too many verses to try and marry up and "try and marry it all up" is what has been done.
This "glorified""spiritual""fleshy" body is pure imagination and requires God to speak again to clarify.
Flesh and bones can never inherit the Kingdom. Jesus said "My Kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36) so why would things of this world, like flesh, go into the Kingdom?
