Kam, your post sadly reveals exactly why so many fell for the Great Disappointment of 1844 — a complete misinterpretation of Daniel’s prophecies.---First, you said:> “His second coming is predicted in Daniel 8:44”Kam — there is no Daniel 8:44. The chapter ends at verse 27. Right there, your reference collapses. You likely meant Daniel 8:14: “And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” (KJV)But here’s the problem:---

1️⃣ Daniel 8:14 is NOT a second coming prophecyDaniel 9:24-27 clearly pointed to Messiah’s first coming — fulfilled perfectly in Yeshua.Daniel 8:14 refers to the cleansing of the sanctuary after the desecration by Antiochus Epiphanes — a historical event, not a second coming prophecy.Your attempt to link Daniel 8:14 to the Second Coming has zero Scriptural basis.---

2️⃣ 1844 was a failed date — historically provenThe “Great Disappointment” of 1844 is well-documented — countless sincere people were deceived by date-setting based on misapplication of Daniel 8:14.William Miller and others wrongly used a day-for-a-year theory tied to the wrong starting point and wrong prophecy. The sanctuary being cleansed was fulfilled through Yeshua’s once-for-all sacrifice (Hebrews 9:11–14), not some 1844 celestial event no one witnessed.---

3️⃣ Kam, does your entire faith rest on 1844?A simple question for you, Kam — please answer plainly: If 1844 is proven false — and it has been — would you be willing to renounce any doctrines that depend on it?Because if your “clear dates” are wrong — and they are — then your whole framework collapses.---

Final point: Paul warns us: “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13, KJV)The 1844 theory was a deception — one of many — and sadly, you are still defending it.---I urge you to rethink this, Kam. You are not the first — and sadly not the last — to fall for this false prophecy. But the truth of Yeshua stands without 1844, without Bahá'u'lláh, and without man-made dates.
