    I still don't see this as referring to a literal resurrection of a body.

    Just as you interpreted before in the comment that a "spiritual body" is a spiritually thinking person rather than a fleshly thinking person, it still applies in this case.

    When a fleshly thinking person recognises Christ and is raised in the new creation as a spiritually thinking person, then the whole of 1 Cor 15 makes sense in this context.

    Christ raised the dead during and after His lifetime on earth.
