John 8:44 (TLV)
“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks lies, he is just being himself — for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
✅ This is the most direct statement from Yeshua, calling Satan the origin of all deception.
Revelation 12:9 (TLV)
“And the great dragon was thrown down — the ancient serpent, the one called the devil and satan, who deceives the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”
✅ Satan is said to be actively deceiving the entire world — not just individuals, but global deception.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (TLV)
“In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so they might not see the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God.”
✅ Satan is referred to as the “god of this world”, who spiritually blinds people from truth — including the truth about the world we live in.
2 Thessalonians 2:9–10 (TLV)
“The coming of the lawless one is connected to the activity of satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with every kind of wicked deception toward those who are perishing — for they refused the love of the truth so as to be saved.”
✅ Satan uses false signs and lying wonders to deceive people, especially in the last days.

“The serpent said to the woman, ‘You most assuredly won’t die! For God knows that when you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’”
✅ The first recorded lie in Scripture — Satan twisting God’s Word to deceive Eve.
