lambda, the quarterly and the conference are a gift to the shorters. They bet on the price going down, you bet on it going up. This time, they win.
I really don't think they could have handled it worse. If they had come right out and said "Sorry folks, we're up sheet creek with no paddle, the plant is half stuffed but we're working on that, not much in the way of sales in Q3 'cos we can't produce the damn stuff but we reckon Q4 could be a lot better, give us another coupla months" you could have got +5c today. But no. You have to put up with a whole pile of utterly equivocal drivel that could have been designed to destroy confidence and credibility.
