Raiderup; the real game changer is the
International Consortium of Investigative Journalists [ICIJ]. Their exposure of what corporate crooks and the uber-wealthy are really up to via The Panama Papers already has governments around the World scrambling to protect their rear ends.
We must NEVER forget that it has been politicians who enabled corporate crooks and the uber wealthy to engage in money laundering, profit shifting, tax avoidance etc. They even tried to imprison and muzzle whistle-blowers.
I fear that the bilateral and multilateral agreements referred in the article you referenced is just those same creepy crawlies patching up crooked legal framework to ensure corporate corruption and asset anonymity flourish into the future. They'll tell the public its a new, cleaner and meaner FTA etc.
It's time the ICIJ spilled the next can of baked beans - why not target the USA first and then countries like the UK which have tax havens conveniently spread around the World? Why not spill the Bilderberg Group can of beans"
