The medium term answer is fairly simple: test, test, test. Test people at the first hint of systems, and isolate anyone positive along with everyone they’ve had contact with for the previous week. Test everyone who’s had symptoms - heck, even those who haven’t - for antibodies to the virus, so we know who’s already immune and safe. But just like everything else, reliable tests in sufficient quantities to cover an entire population take time - so right now the right thing to do is just. Stay. Isolated.

Using LOGIC how does testing cure anyone? Testing, tracing, isolation flattens the curve, highly recommended in the short term. It CURES no one, it just pushes the curve out to infinity. It will not immune enough people to equal births.
