    The trouble with trying for herd immunity is that, according to virologists, the virus is already mutating, as viruses do. This means that next wave after herd immunity develops will be as bad, maybe worse maybe lesser, than this wave... This could become an annual event in the same manner as influenza, or it could fade away as SARS/MERS has done.

    We don't know where its going until next year and any vaccine developed from this years viral strain may not be effective against next years - if the virus mutates at a sufficiently rapid rate.
