What a brilliant comment in hindsight...
Kockatea could have turned up flowing oil at 50bbls per day, then you would be screaming, "Why are they plugging it, Screw the gas!!"
Well yes unfortunately it didnt turn out that way, so on with the job. The company has toiled away & kept to the plan, sure there have been delays, but within reason, welcome to the O&G game.
Also highly likeley gas in one of the lower zones can be commercialised & lessen the need for CR, why would you then plug it back to re-test upper zones.
It wont be long before we have flow rates, the logistically difficult part of the program is over.
If you think they will CR before anything substantial is announced, good luck to you, there are a couple of irons in the fire here.
