Respect Potts...
NWE shouldn't become a one trick pony, a little diversification, the cost is small, UK connection, AIM market etc.
The PEDLs have a proven working oil system, trap quality and channeling from source rocks are outstanding issues.
Hopefully attract interest from 3rd parties once firmed up with current seismic interpretation, to cover a significant portion of NWE drill cost. Drill cheap, environmental is a risk, Wytch farm has handled successfully, Bouldnor Copse-1, Sandhills-2 - Isle of Wight drilled in 2005, Sandhills having oil, just a small interval higher water contact.
Hopefully we are on the right side (south side) of the fault passing through the island than those 2 recent wells for Razorback. Theorized to be at the east end of the mature oil generation pool.
Not in a rush, supportive government stance, time to exploit... and the wild card of thick shale that may cover most of the leases, especially off shore. Razorback is an attractive size, 15km to a refinery. A spark of interest from a midsize UK producer, and it becomes real.
There is a chance, minimal distraction and money.
To free up NWE timewhich might be your intention, wouldn't mind NWE yielding the operator-ship to AWE in A-2 lease , only. Why are we the operators with AWE and Bharat as partners?
