You'll never get it right. Hindsight always wins. In hindsight I should have bought a lotto ticket last week with last nights winning numbers but I didn't. At least you have some and $3.5k at 22c is $17.6k at today's closing price so you can't complain too much about a paper profit of $14.1k. And if it reaches where it should in the next few years you'll still be kicking yourself but at the same time you'll be sitting on substantially bigger profits than now.
