100% agree re Lauder. Not worried about him buying anything on market as he already has a substantial holding

Disagree about our CEO though, 3.3m shares is not a lot when compared to some of the other T20. Surely if you were running a public business and share price was depressed and you had confidence in the business you would buy on market? He is on $1m+ pa, so definitely not doing this as a charity and doing it for financial gain. To answer your question, if i was in his position (an insider) i would be buying on market as it would make financial sense (assuming i had confidence in the business).

I have only run private companies (running one at the moment in the UK - definitively challenging times, circa 100 staff members), i have always had confidence to put money into the business because i knew we will remain profitable and grow. If it was a public business i would be buying more shares as i know in time we can double it.

Him not buying on market is the main reason i am not buying more at this stage.

Just my thoughts anyway.
