Dont know if SIP manufactures flee dip but I must say this is a doggg! I brought into this on the back of an intelligent investor analyst recommending it at $1.75 3 years ago.
And I must say I believed the valuation by comparing it to my own figures at the time, but the debt is killing this company slowly. I have recently sold my entire holding, has never gone anywhere near reaching those 1.75 highs ( if you can call them that). The head winds this is facing from cheap Indian generic manufacturers, PBS changes and the Terry White Chemist Mafia are just too great. Have you noticed that terry white refuses to stock any sigma products. and his absolute stonewalling of Sigma's proposal to buy symbion by joining forces with MTS.
Those I.I blokes totally under-estimated what a closed shop the pharmaceuticals industry is in this country. The growth avenues for SIP are very limited.
Those blokes at the I.I have recommended some absolute flee ridden dogs, timbercorp case in point, lost about 2k on that dog, sometimes there valuations are ludicrous. Geez they totally missed the resource boom because they dont have dedicated mining/metals/oil analyst Happy not to be subscriber, for the same price you could join Petroleum news.net which is an order of magnitude better in recommendations than those schmoes. Steven Johnson is on Skybiz sometimes still peddling his half backed investing strategies, man I think he got fired from Macquarie Group. Those blokes need to lift there game.
This is turning into an absolute rant, apologies all round
But remember never doubt your own capabilities, Iam currently beating the xjo and the I.I by a country mile on the very stocks thay do not cover: oil&gas and metals. go figure?
