Having said that ... my reading of Genesis 18 and 19 is that The Lord appeared to Abraham as one of "the three men", the other two being the 2 angels who then continue on and visit Lot in Ch 19
Seems pretty straight forward ?
Ok, so you don't agree with wostup that there is 4 in chapter 18?
Are you sure there are 2 angels with "the three men" in chapter 18?
In Chapter 18 the three are addressed as Lord and in chapter 19 the two angels are addressed as Lords.
In any case of course, nothing to do with any expression or validation of the Trinity doctrine.
Some say it does give validation. It can be interpreted as such. It associates with Jesus saying before Abraham, "I am" You don't think so. Good for you!
But just inform wotsup that you don't agree with him at all.
