Well im gonna stick up for computers!

i think the flies are only 'fast' compared to us humans, because of their metabolism and smaller brain (less distance for nerves, synapses etc) Computers will keep increasing their ability to out process biological brains, they aren't slower than a fly, its just someone has to actually waste time and effort trying to build every other component of a fly. We could write code now to pull off the exact same maneuvres as the fly at an even faster rate, however the mechanical side of it will lag.


We will probably even convert to digital brains in the future, incredible speed will just be one advantage.
