Some good points Ajs.
Imo we are in a nice little bubble here in Australia... there are still 20-odd countries reporting over 1,000 new cases daily, with the “top” 3 countries reporting over 70,000 new cases combined (and over 4,000 deaths) just yesterday.
Some regions are still seeing numbers increasing, so they are nowhere near the tail end yet.
Yes, things change quickly, but it appears we are still a significant distance from “business as usual”, contrary to the claims/hopes of some others here.
Let’s see how it unfolds.
I maintain my issue with some blind cheerleaders calling for $30 share prices etc, whilst being unable to discuss/present/explain their clearly-flaky basis for such calls.
Imo there will be no “business as usual” for FLT until a significant number of countries are effectively “clear” and open their borders, AND sustained bookings and earnings return to “normal” (i.e. 2019) levels for the business.
Some others talking “10 weeks” from now are kidding themselves imo, especially with current expectations that international travel won’t re-open til 2021.
Yes I realise this may change; we’ll see.
