Yeah, ok. Perhaps something more recent is more relevant?

    Like this, from THIS month:

“Confident that Flight Centre will now survive − albeit in a much smaller form − Turner is plotting the long and slow recovery ahead. “The coronavirus is here to stay for the short term, the next 12 to 24 months at least, and we’re going to have outbreaks," he says. "If you don’t accept that, everyone is kidding themselves."

Turner believes domestic travel will pick up in July and return to about 80 per cent of pre-pandemic levels by Christmas, but that all depends on when all states − especially Queensland − reopen their borders. “The sooner we know it’s going to happen, the better for tourism," he says.

On top of that, Turner is bearish about Australia's economic recovery and fears a jump in unemployment when the government cuts off its Jobkeeper payments− currently supporting 5.5 million workers, including at Flight Centre − in September.

“I think it’s going to be much deeper in the October, November, December period than anyone is anticipating," he says. "And that’s going to have an impact on travel."

International travel is harder to predict, but he's hopeful there could be a “travel bubble” opened with New Zealand as soon as August, followed by the Pacific Islands and possibly Singapore.

But travel to or from North America and Europe will not return this year, he says, and recovery to pre-pandemic levels will be two to three years away.

Travel agents like him in the meantime need to work overtime to convince holidaymakers and corporate clients it is safe to travel, by providing detailed information about the airlines they will fly with, their hotels and how they will be transported on the ground, he says.

As for Flight Centre's finances, Turner says it will take closer to three years to recover from COVID-19 but warns there's "a lot of water to flow under the bridge before that becomes reality".
