"Looks like MMKS still yet have the money to buy FMS"
It says on page 2 of the takeover announcement released by FMS on 25 Nov:
"The acquisition in not conditional on MMK securing finance for the acquisition."
So, MMK have the finance approved, but it appears MMK are considering a better loan deal from Gazprombank.
"A confidential international bank source reports hearing that international lenders to MMK were unhappy to learn last week that MMK was negotiating with state-controlled Gazprombank for a new loan to finance the Flinders Mines acquisition. MMK refuses to discuss that loan."
