"HERITAGE AGREEMENT EXECUTED WITH ADNYAMATHANHA TRADITIONAL LANDS ASSOCIATION IN SA
HIGHLIGHTS
• Taruga’s subsidiary Strikeline Resources Pty Ltd has executed a heritage agreement with the Adnyamathanha Traditional Lands Association (ATLA)
• ATLA are the Prescribed Body Corporate (PBC) responsible for administration of the Native Title rights and heritage interests of the Adnyamathanha People, who are keyTraditional Owners across Taruga’s South Australian projects
• The Heritage Agreement includes all Taruga’s South Australian projects including the Flinders Project, Torrens Project, Mt Craig Project and additional Exploration License Applications currently under review by the South Australian Government
• ATLA remains under special administration and is currently unable to execute a Native Title Mining Agreement (NTMA) for areas subject to Native Title
• The heritage agreement allows Taruga to commence heritage surveys on priority target areas in preparation for drilling to follow the completion of an NTMA
• The agreement represents a significant milestone for the Company in relation to land access across our South Australian projects.
• Taruga is thrilled to be working with ATLA to progress responsible exploration which protects the heritage interests of the Adnyamathanha People
Taruga CEO, Thomas Line commented:“It is a great privilege to be able to build relationships with the Adnyamathanha people asTraditional Owners of the country on which our projects sit.“The heritage agreement with ATLA underlines our desire to work together with the Adnyamathanha people. We are optimistic that the process of Special Administration will soon allow the completion of an NTMA between ATLA and Strikeline, for the mutual benefit of Strikeline and the Adnyamathanha people.
“We are excited to commence heritage surveys with ATLA, in preparation for exploration drilling of approved areas. We continue to do what we can to support ATLA through what is a challenging period, including by establishing an “ATLA Coordinator” position in partnership with Heathgate Resources Pty Ltd.
“Strikeline is also providing full time positions for Adnyamathanha community members to join our exploration team. “As increased land access allows our projects to grow, we look forward to being able to create more shared value in partnership with the Adnyamathanha community”.
Taruga’s Section 23 application over the Flinders Project area remains ongoing and unaffected by this progress, and is still subject to the State Government’s consideration and timelines. At this stage the Company has not been provided with any updates on expected timing of a decision."

Surely by now, 3 months later, the Company must be able to demand action by the relevant Govt body to expedite this process!
