Forming part of this company's strict internal policy to resist from making forward looking statements, it's important when reciting OBJ announcements to look out for certain words which may define something in a past present or future tense.

In addition, the omission by OBJ of certain words such as, 'potential' will often provide equal weight...

This is my first comment in response to your question re that specific paragraph which as you correctly pointed out doesn't necessarily confirm (nor deny) that OBJ is currently finalizing any agreements, however as the recent Half Yearly also represented the first time disclosure of negotiations for product development and licensing agreements being finalized, we should probably be encouraged to establish approximately when negotiations may have commenced, and then armed with this information, we can form our own conclusions as to when these material arrangements may be close to execution and formally announced to the market.

Incorporating the terms of a PDA should be the royalties fee schedule, licensing rights/fees, and any potential upfront fee and/or milestone payments, and we already know that OBJ commenced PDA negotiations with both Coty and P&G before the company's AGM in November 2013 because the board confirmed as much during that presentation.

Inevitably, these negotiations can often be drawn out over many long months, but that never stops the clock from ticking...
