Yesterday afternoon (02/02/2011) Suncorp were claiming that their exposure to the Cyclone would be limited to around $10m due to the reinsurance they have in place.
I have also been led to believe that Suncorp is by far the most prominent insurer in the cyclone affected area.
Taking this information in to consideration, I am of the opinion that QBE's exposure will be very minimal.
The sell off in QBE's share price is well overdone, and a great opportunity.
