Tonight's news is top heavy with stories about a new 10 year, $236 million Federal Government program to upgrade the nation's system of flood gauges and flood warning systems.
From reports I've seen and read, it seems like Queensland will be the first region to pilot new flood warning systems and associated technology.
Now, I might very possibly be wide of the mark, but the requirements of this new national program (which is supported by the Federal Opposition) sound like they are right up Spectur's alley - especially given the technical specialisation and Queensland focus of the recent 3CT acquisition.
I have asked for some advice on the subject from our company's CEO and if it turns out I'm wide of the mark, I will certainly make a follow-up post with a mea culpa. However, If I'm anywhere close to the mark, I will expect to see some sort of communication to shareholders from Spectur through (at the very least) the company's Instagram and/or Facebook pages, which outlines how Spectur technology might potentially deliver on elements of this new national program.
