    AA are taking cattle all the way through to the plate, not that wagyu feed into the EYCI numbers anyway, but its 24+ months before AA get a return on the cattle that could be sold into the EYCI today. For the last four/ ish years the producer's (I'm one of them) who simply sold wags as feeders (approx 400-450kg) or even younger, were in the box seat. But the market's softened drastically, I suspect that for the next few years, those like AA who are taking cattle all the way through the supply chain will do better and the producer's will have a period of pain (hopefully not too much pain).
