If thats the case you must have thought the Howard government was hopeless when it introduced the gun levy following the Port Arthur massacre. He also introduced a range of other levies/taxes.
I was very happy with Howards gutsy decision to do the gun buyback and I am just as happy to see the flood levy introduced to help my fellow Australians in Queensland.
