The access from Qld would be blocked coming from Jackson before the Nappa bridge which will take weeks to be navigable.

End of the day the Innamincka area is a flood plains area, but where the wells are it is well above the flood areas, so the actual site would not be flooded just the access roads - which will take some weeks to dry out to be able to be open to TRUCKS - supplies

I see that the Birdsville track has this advise -anticipated closure until mid May 2010....the B/ville track is a long way from Innamincka but that is the advise coming from Dept of transport
