read an interesting article today which could be relevant to the next asset sale by LNC - emerald - which is in the bowen basin - an area where a number of biggies have had to stop mining owing to the mines being flooded.
The news link below claims that the coal properties valuations in such areas will be adversely affected as well as M&A activity could get stretched out by 3-6 months.
