Floods in QLD - Oh the drama !!!

said by someone who is totally oblivious to the catastrophe of being flooded

the huge monetary loss, the huge psychological damage, the massive rise one sees in years after as couples and families disintegrate from the stress


no - NQ'ders aren't tougher ---------------- just some are ignorant of the damage of these things and insensitive

Oh cry me a canal barge boy.
I've lived through 6 cyclones above Cat 3 of which 2 were direct hits on Cairns.
I've spent days without electricity, been flooded in, suffered mosquitos and stinking hot humidity, chain sawed up fallen trees etc etc.
Now tell us your experiences ...
But please keep it succinct - I fall asleep reading most of your posts.
