The news of the devastating Floods in Thailand give rise to thoughts that this record inundation just next door to PNA operations has not given rise to any adverse publicity or concern over breaching of detainment ponds or or cyanide leaking from their leach ponds .( as happened a few years ago)
Lessons were learnt from a incident a long time ago and now ,no mining Company I know can match PNA for sustainabilty measures put in place.
Nature test us all the time ,but only bad news hits the headlines.
Investment-wise ,sometimes we should kick more in on "no bad news" rather than wait for good news.
No wonder PNA were given the "Best Community Dev. Award" by the Asia Mining Conference.
