run in a southerly direction up that way.
It is a question of how far inland the ex cyclone goes and how much structure it continues with.
As it turns out it pretty much slammed the coast and self distructed, unlike the west coast one earlier that was maybe still technically a cyclone at the WA/SA border. Hope that explains how different a result can be given
two cyclones out at sea.
The weather like most things in nature will do as it wants and we can but watch with wonder.
