I may be wrong but my understanding is that QBE does not provide cover for riverine flooding, at least not in Australia anyway. In case of flash flooding or storm damage they are exposed but not if flooding is due to rivers breaking their banks. This was the contentious issue following the Brisbane floods when it turned out that only Suncorp routinely covered riverine flooding.
