When the DeGrey flooded, (back in '76 when I was there),

used to drive over on the bridge that was for trains only.

Not sure, but went from 'dry' to around 30 foot deep.

Mate used to 'slam' his way through creeks, in his Valiant pacer, mad as.

Non, or virtually non flowing creek, relatively safe, compared to a fast flowing one, (no way).
