Here is some info on glancing light on plasterboard, this same applies to many other surfaces including brickwork. Here is also some info on direct fix plasterboard to brickwork you will notice 15 mm tolerance for this , this is also highly unlikely to happen on HX walls , also notice that I have highlighted “free of dust and dirt” in conventional builds drylining trades are always pissed off at the state of brickwork mean they have to scrape all access mortar off the brickwork ! This won’t be a problem anymore though building with HX . I can write another page on the advantages of drylining but this info I’m posting hopefully gives those with limited knowledge in construction piece if mind and some tips on what’s going on .
