Agreeing with much of what you say, but diasgree with the GSA and vehemently disagree that ICN would sit back and do nothing.

If anything, the fact the Holdfast-2H results will be mostly known and Halifax will be all done ought to ensure that much should happen in ATP855P. Reg Nelson himself said no reason why gas in place PEL218 can not be replicated in ATP855. Means 855 is underexplored and CVX is not about to let the grass grow under their feet in either tenement.

CVX has a plan and I reckon it may be about cementing its place wrt gas supply in Eastern Australia both domestic and export.

And as you say ICN is a pure-play essentially for CB (rest is noise kind of at the moment) - thats what attracted me and what keeps me out of BPT.
