It would seem that the report of gas being online at Edirne is from a report from a investor/trader called Zman.

He seems to have taken the forecast by Transatlantic as happening without perhaps checking their web site or perhaps taking into account the massive floods that Turkey has had in this region.

I'm more inclined to believe the Transatlantic web site news of 17/02/2010 see below.

Thrace Basin
In the Thrace Basin, the Company is very near completion of the gathering system and facilities necessary to begin selling natural gas from its discoveries in the Edirne gas field. Weather has been the principal factor in the delay of project. Heavy rains and snows have made roads in the field impassable for extended periods of time and interfered with construction over the past 90 days. The facilities are now largely complete, with the gating item being tying the system into the Botas pipeline. As soon as ground conditions permit, the Company will complete the interconnection. Once the lines are connected, gas sales should commence within a week to 10 days. While the timeline is largely dependent upon the weather, the Company now expects to commence gas sales by early March. "Getting the system on line is critically important to us. We are confident that we are very near that point. We are also confident that once we get production on line, we will build on that production throughout the year," Mr. Mitchell said.

And Otto's Released news of the sales aggreement on 15th Dec 2009,

Otto Energy Limited (Otto or Company) (ASX: OEL) is pleased to announce that
the Edirne Joint Venture (EJV) has secured a five year Gas Sales Agreement for all
gas production from the Edirne Licence.
This long term gas sales agreement provides the EJV with a certain market for
both its current gas reserves while also allowing for the monetisation of its new
gas discoveries on the licence area. The EJV has no supply commitments under
the GSA and therefore no risk on gas deliverability.
The Edirne Project has gross 2P Reserves and 2C Resources of approximately
8.5 Bcf (Otto's share 3 Bcf) and is expected to have INITIAL PRODUCTION RATES of
between 10 to 14 mmscf per day COMMENCING IN EARLY 2010.

Note that Otto states initial rates and early 2010 and Transatlantic state they have yet to complete interconnection and connect lines and hope for gas to flow in early March.

Hopefully they will release news of success at Yolboyu 1 and follow it up with gas now on line, in the not too distant future.
