Austin Exploration Limited (“Austin”) (ASX:AKK) requests an immediate trading halt on its securities
pending the release of an announcement to the market in relation to initial flow results at our Krueger
#1 Eagle Ford well in Texas, USA . Austin requests that the trading halt remains in place until the earlier
of the commencement of trading on Friday 16 March 2012 or Austin making an announcement to the
market concerning the initial flow results.
AKK is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted by the ASX. The Company is
in compliance with the Listing Rules of the ASX, and in particular Listing Rule 3.1.
