    If you dont have economic flow rates, then you dont have reserves. The Barnett (etc) shales can make money, but they've also lost plenty of money.

    As to "A whale like Devon does not get involved with minnows", that is completely incorrect. In the oil industry, companies of all sorts of sizes play with each other.
