This sounds a lower number than you might have been expecting but remember that was the temp at the top of the new cold well.
It has tended to be the temp. down at the reservoir,
4 kilometers below, that normally gets quoted in despatches.

You know what the run from the water heater to the shower does to temps so its OK.
4-1/4km will knock quite a bit off as it heats up all that steel pipe and concrete along the way.

This is shaping up as a really great geothermal well pixie.
Hard work and perseverance are finally being rewarded.
