Thanks Ya. I know of that site, but just wanted to get up close and personal with it. I have a thing for large floating vessels. Dare I say it, I was so fascinated by the sheer magnitude and engineering of Deepwater Horizon that I nearly went to Korea to pay that a visit as it was being loaded onto its transport vessels.
Chinguetti was decommissioned in 2017 I think, but good to see the supermajors are heading back there for what is looking like a promising new ultra deep gas frontier play. The people of Senegal and Mauritania really deserves some good fortune. Hopefully the armies and politicians can stop overthrowing each other every other day.
