Geodynamics wishes to advise that it is currently preparing tools for the first wireline operation, (a gyro survey to map the Habanero 3 well trajectory) prior to commencement of its circulation and testing operations. First controlled flow from Habanero 3 is now expected to be on Friday 14 March. The connection of the steam separator, flow line and instrumentation is currently being completed for the start-up. This has taken longer than envisaged due to some unexpected faults in key instrumentation that has required replacement. During the well clean up program the well flowed at a maximum rate of 30kg/sec which was above expectations.
The open circulation flow test is expected to take 14 days from commencement. This will be followed by a closed loop test to be commenced at the end of April. On the drilling side, Rig 100 is now fully rigged up at Jolokia 1 (located approximately 9km from Habanero 3). Planned rig maintenance activities are ongoing and recommissioning of major equipment will follow. It is currently expected to spud Jolokia 1 by the end of the week.
