Maximum depth would depend on a few factors - amount of drill pipe, maximum safe length of 6" open hole, whether or not 6" hole is going to be lined or testes barefoot etc.

Initially I thought they werent going to attempt an MDT run but now I believe pressures and samples are in the plan.

Main risk is having a large section of hole open for any period of time. Especially important if they plan to test barefoot rather than first running a liner in the 6" hole.

Running standard sized wireline tools in 6" hole carries risks due to reduced clearance around tools. Esp case with MDT. Ive never had great luck running MDTs in slim hole.

Risk of issues is reduced by drilling section in 6" hole with rest of hole cased off.....you have a wider window between formation pressure and fracture pressure.
