Some of the oldtimers drilled shallow wells that flowed at several 100's of bopd, some over a thousand from memory (this history of this region is covered in a comprehensive doc on WGP's website). While typically, majority of the wells settle down to produce a few 10's of bopd, some greatly exceed that. It's not clear if they are saying that this block has never been explored (ie drilled) ever or just not recently. Also, some old wells locations were not known precisely. What is known is that they flow premium light sweet crude, and they are as cheap as chips to drill and hook up. The refinery is close by also. We need more information before coming to a conclusion here. But it does seem to me like it might be a virgin field of a few acres, or 10's of acres if we're lucky. WGP's shortage of scrip makes this a lot more interesting than many other so-called juniors, imho.
