Yeah I guess flax just doesnt have good pressure support. The gas injection is for pressure maintaince.
When I left santos, we were connecting oil wells without pumps flowing at only 10-100 bopd. They would lose pressure support after only a few weeks and flow close to 0 bopd Then we would need to put beam pump or jet pumps to get back to 10-100 bopd. In my experience, high flowrate, high flowing pressure and high reserves are all synonomous with eachother. Just as low rates are associated with low pressures and low reserves.
Yeah, a daily truck run would be a real pain - especially if they are loosing product due to the volatiles vapourising in the journey to the market place!
