After buying FLT in the recent dip I thought it would be interesting to see if I could use machine learning to predict price direction. The SVM model decides to go long or short based on past momentum (normalized price changes that are lagged by a day).
Equity curve was a surprise as most of my past attempts typically crash and burn. I decided to try a few more stocks and noticed that popular stocks for shorters tended to be more predictable (most likely due chance ).
